Mission Statement

The principle objective of the Torrance County Purchasing Department is to acquire quality goods and services for the County at fair and reasonable prices. The Purchasing Department strives to meet this objective by competitive purchasing from vendors through the issuance of requests for quotes (RFQ's), Invitation for Bids (IFB's) and Request for Proposals (RFP's). At this web site (RFB & RFP) you will find the current bid and proposal packages open for competitive offers, as well as information to register as a vendor with the County. We encourage your participation in the competitive acquisition process and are available to answer any questions you may have about doing business with Torrance County.
