A candidate for a position that will be filled at a regular local election shall file a declaration of candidacy-between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm at my office (Torrance County Clerk’s Office)

A candidate shall file for only one position in the same local government but may file for a position in more than one (1) local government on the same filing day.  A declaration of candidacy shall not be amended after it has been filed with the proper filing officer.

Each declaration of candidacy shall be delivered for filing in person by the eligible candidate or by a person acting by virtue of written authorization.
