Finance Department

The Torrance County Finance Department, under the direction of the County Manager, is responsible for coordinating the financial operations of the county departments within a framework of statutory and procedural safeguards to ensure the protection of county assets. 

Our responsibilities include:

  • Financial planning and budget development
  • Budget management and reporting
  • Accounts payable check processing  
  • Payroll processing for county employees
  • Grant management, accounting and reporting
  • Procurement compliance
  • Fixed assets tracking, reporting, and compliance
  • Reconciling accounts and receivables

Inspection of Public Records Act: IPRA requests may be completed online, sent via email to IPRA@tcnm.us, or via U.S. Mail to the attention of the Records Custodian PO Box 48, Estancia, NM 87016.
